Black Beans & Rice
Ingredients:
- ½ cup canned organic low-sodium black beans, drained
- ¼ tsp. organic extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 dash organic ground chili powder
- 1 pinch organic ground cumin
- 1 tsp.*Bragg's Liquid Aminos or *Coconut Aminos
- Himalayan salt (taste; optional)
- ¾ cup cooked brown rice, hot
Directions:
- In a medium saucepan, mix the beans, oil, chili powder, cumin, coriander, Aminos and salt (if desired).
- Heat for 1 – 2 minutes over medium-low heat.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in brown rice.
- Serve immediately.
